WHAT IS MEDITATION?
Is it a technique ?
Is it something you ‘do’?
Is it an achievement of the mind?
The answer is NO.
Meditation is not something the mind can create. In fact, where the mind ends, meditation begins. Everything in life is achieved through the mind—except meditation. Meditation is not an effort… it is your natural state. It is not something to learn, but something to remember. It has always been within you—waiting. Just a gentle turning inward… and it reveals itself.
✨ Meditation is awareness. It is no-thought. It is spontaneity. It is being fully present. It’s not a technique — it’s a shift in being.
“Meditation is a single lesson of awareness, of no-thought, of spontaneity, of being total in your action, alert, aware. It is not a technique, it is a knack. Either you get it or you don’t.“Osho

MEDITATION FAQS
WHEN SHOULD I MEDITATE?
The most powerful time is early morning (Brahma Muhurta / before sunrise)— when the mind is fresh and energy is subtle.
But truth is…👉 The best time is when you feel ready to sit. Consistency matters more than timing. Meditate daily.
HOW SHOULD I SIT?
Ideal way is to sit on a mat or carpet with cross legged with your spine straight and eyes closed. Either it should be Siddhasana or Padmasana with your hands in lap or on your knees. But If you can not sit cross legged then You can sit with legs stretched straight or on a chair as you feel comfortable.
Formula here is that your spine and head should be straight and eyes should be closed.
WHERE SHOULD I MEDITATE & HOW?
Sit with spine straight & body relaxed, eyes Closed ideally in:
Padmasana (Lotus Pose) or Siddhasana
But comfort is more important than perfection.
👉 You can also sit on a chair if needed.Golden Rule: Straight spine + relaxed body + closed eyes
Best place to meditate is some holy place, your house or even your office, park or any quiet place but it should be neat and clean.
Avoid meditating near a grave yard, a bar, a brothel or a butcher house. When we meditate our safety field opens up and there are chances that we catch negative thoughts or attract negative entities.
It is ideal is to meditate in same designated area in your house everyday. Also try to wear same clothes everyday. Same place and same clothes absorbs the energy when you meditate and become charged. So it helps you to go faster in meditative state.
Create a beautiful and halcyon atmosphere so that you feel delighted each time you step into it.
Also, attending a group meditation will strengthen your state of silence. As you grow in meditation, you will find yourself at peace no matter where you are.
HOW LONG SHOULD I MEDITATE?
Beginners: 20–30 minutes
Regular practitioners: 45–60 minutes
Children/elderly: 15–20 minutes
Consistency is more important than duration.
CHILDREN & MEDITATION
Children naturally enter meditation easily.
Keep sessions short (15–30 min)
Never force them. Make it joyful and light. They are already close to their natural state.
DO I NEED TO CHANGE MYSELF?
No forced changes required. Meditation itself will transform you naturally.
✨ As awareness grows, unnecessary habits drop automatically. Lifestyle becomes balanced. But just avoid excess heavy food before meditation. Avoid Overindulgence (food, alcohol, etc.).
IS MUSIC HELPFUL IN MEDITATION?
Yes, especially for beginners. It helps calm the mind. Makes focusing easier and educes distraction.
Certain sounds and ragas can also activate subtle energy.
👉 Eventually, silence becomes your music.
HOW TO LEARN MEDITATION
You can begin on your own…But guidance can make the journey: Faster Safer Deeper
✨ Just like climbing a mountain—You can go alone… or with someone who knows the path.
Meditation is ultimately about:
👉 Being present
👉 Being aware
👉 Being yourself
🌟 FINAL INSIGHT: Meditation is not separate from life. It is not something you “practice” for one hour…It is something you live every moment.
✨ When you are fully present…✨ When you are aware…That is meditation.
